Our cabin is well-built, and cozy, with all the amenities needed for comfort during a winter or summer stay.  Originally built in 1987, we are only the second owners of this special home and we completed a renovation in 2015, including new paint, new decor, all new flooring and the addition of central air conditioning.  We are located in the Blue Lake Springs neighborhood just east of Arnold in the Sierra Mountains. 

 

Our cabin is at about 4,000 feet elevation and is conveniently situated just across the street from the Blue Lake Springs Recreation Center, which includes a swimming pool, a lake with a sandy beach, tennis and basketball courts and a children's play area. The Recreation Center includes a full-service restaurant open on Friday and Saturday evenings, and free outdoor movies on Saturday nights in the summer.  Usage fees apply; please check with Blue Lake Springs Recreation Center for a current fee schedule.

The deck at our cabin features comfortable patio furniture and a large outdoor dining table for family dinners.  The new kitchen range and gas grill make it easy to cook meals, but if you are ready for a night out, Arnold offers a variety of dining options just down the road, and nearby Murphy's offers a multitude of wine tasting rooms and restaurants.

 

We have created a cozy atmosphere with plenty of space for a multi-family vacation, family reunion or weekend-getaway.  Amenities include a pine-decorated master suite with a king-size bed, large bathroom and soaking tub, two additional bedrooms with queen beds, and a spacious, bonus room with a king size bed, 2 bunk beds and a large screen TV,  toys, games that is perfect for a family suite or for teens and older children. Our roomy outdoor deck features a farmhouse table that seats 10-12. Our living room and bonus rooms each have a smart TV with Comcast service,   Our home features central air conditioning to keep the house cool on hot days.  The dining table extends to seat 10-12 adults, with additional seating at the adjacent island bar in the kitchen.
